*Collaborating with Norihito Nakanishi’s Nishinoharu Farm in Japan, The Oriental Group has secured a rare supply of one of the world’s finest pedigree Wagyu to be showcased in Chinese Cuisine.
The Miyazaki Prefecture is known for its top-quality pure water, clean air, warm weather with cool evenings and a pristine environment where prized pedigree cattles are fed with organic feeds. Nakanishi Wagyu is bred with ground water from Kirishima Mountain Range, whose water has been chosen to be of the top 100 best quality in Japan.
The Nakanishi family farm has a history of over 3 generations of raising Tajima cattles (most commonly known as Kobe Beef) in limited populations and non-commercial environments to ensure the highest and most consistent quality of Wagyu in the world.
Guests at the exclusive dinners will also experience Guest Chef Joeri Timmermans’ culinary expertise in Wagyu Cuts in collaboration with Oriental Group’s Executive Chefs James Ho of RUYI Group and Justin Hor in an Omakase style dining concept.
Chef Timmermann’s resume includes Michelin starred restaurants in the Netherlands; Restaurant Parkheuvel, Beluga, and Restaurant de Leuf. He has also headlined the kitchen at Ce La Vi and Black Wattle in Singapore, and Momofuku Sei bo in Australia. Joeri was sous-chef at Automata, a restaurant that has been twice named as one of Australia’s Hottest Restaurants in The Weekend Australian, awarded 2 hats in the prestigious The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide, and earned 2* in Australian Gourmet Travellers Restaurant Guide 2017 and 2018.
Over 4 exclusive evenings of collaborations with executive MasterChefs James Ho of RUYI and YU, and Chef Justin Hor at Noble House and Noble Mansion, this is a unique opportunity to experience the finest Wagyu in the world as represented in Chinese Cuisine for the first time in Kuala Lumpur.
